On January 15, 2013, the Oberlin Faculty Jazz Ensemble will play two sets at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola in New York City.
The first set is at 7:30 pm, and the second will commence at 9:30 pm.
The ensemble will feature:
Sean Jones, trumpet
Gary Bartz, saxophone
Robin Eubanks, trombone
Jay Ashby, trombone
Bobby Ferrazza, guitar
Dan Wall, piano
Peter Dominguez, bass
Billy Hart, drums
The ensemble will perform a mixture of jazz standards as well as original compositions.

I visited Oberlin today and sorry for blogging about all my college visits but I’m hoping I can use this later when I need to make Important Decisions.
They are a lot more into sustainability than I would’ve expected. There is this entire building run by its own solar panels and it has this cool indoor fountain and a pond out the back.
Also their unofficial mascot is the albino squirrel lolol that’s kinda sweet and they have PARAKEETS in their language building because this one professor there researched that white noise helps us learn languages and during finals weeks they bring in PUPPIES for PUPPY THERAPY
Also it’s super liberal there YES
