Today in Oberlin, there was a snow-squirrel/dragon/fox/thing on North Quad.
Having a camera, I took a photo and decided to post it. Things like snow-squirrel/dragon/fox/things are one of the many beautiful yet odd things that happen in Oberlin that everyone sees but no one records.
So, here is to you, snow-squirrel/dragon/fox/thing. Cheers.
I like Fairkid ALOT
There has been ALOT of snow over the past few days
[sadly due to the weird above-freezing temperatures ALOT will probably not be around by dinnertime but I had to make something in the moldable snow, so if you’re around go say hi!]

Oberlin in the winter.
So pretty. So cold. Brrrr.
Last year, I made a snow totoro that looked more like the rabbit from Donnie Darko
so I was a little less ambitious this year and I made a chibi totoro!
Sadly the only camera I have now is the one on my dumbphone, It should be cold enough tonight that my beautiful creation will still be around tomorrow morning so I’ll try to take better pictures then. I’m really proud of this one.
I even made it a little bindle!
he does have tail but my phone’s just so crap that you can’t see it
We are so so sorry we missed this.

To remember this beautiful weather on this sunny and 60 degree day in January.
aw my town is so cute in the winter
In light of the snow being gone (or almost gone…), we recommend accompanying this photo with a recording of Snow is Gone by Josh Ritter ‘99.

via katgezicht… Snowberlin! Sad, though, cause now it’s all melty with patches of snow on green grass.
I finally downloaded all the pictures I have on my phone. So, here’s a collection of pictures of Oberlin in the snow.
You make it look like we were snowy all winter… SnOberlin forever! (We wish.)
So, we would always joke about how Barrows Freshman went everywhere in packs, but sometimes I would feel like, “Naaah, it’s been so long, we’re exaggerating now.”
Follow the leader, Oberlin style.
