On campus Obies: do you know where this knitbomb is located? Have you hugged a tree today?

Emily Wilkerson ‘15 models the final product of her winter term project, a sweater created during the From Yarn to Garment class.
This is what I’m saying. When people from my ASL class get together to watch bad television, there is inevitable crafting.
What is everyone making? That Oberlin colored project to the far right looks like something we all might need.
Day 3: reflecting my desire for real winter weather. Come on, Ohio, step it up. Let’s have some snow. The scarf’s removable if you like your monsters sans-giant-scarf, which I SUPPOSE is a valid lifestyle choice.
Don’t remove the scarf! It is finally snowing! (Emma is knitting a monster a day as her winter term project and is taking suggestions of things to knit via her ask box.)
On top of painting, why not also learn how to knit?
I just bought this gorgeous ball of yarn at a quaint yarn shop called Smith’s in downtown Oberlin. The people there were so friendly and helpful with helping me pick out the right kind of yarn for my beginning project: a scarf that involves a lot of knitting and purling.
Another cool thing about Smith’s Knitshop: they have lots of free classes and knitting circles. Here’s their schedule for January.
