it’s really tough to put up pictures of myself that don’t look good, but the green beans up(?) regina’s nose and midori’s epic plate action really just made it imperative i do this. also two julias! just…ahh!

Oh my goodness. We super love this.
April 15th meant many things to many Keepers. To me, it meant that I had only twelve days to finish my thesis. Today, I only have nine, but that is inconsequential. For most Keeple, however, it meant that the two words on everyone’s drowsy, sleep-deprived lips were “fire alarm.”
A hands-on recount of everyone’s favorite experience in on-campus living: the dreaded fire alarm.
Second puzzle challenge of the semester! There are at least 5 things odd about this picture! First person to name them (or the one who can name the most by next week) wins a prize! Go, go, go!

We find it strange that we can’t hear any music coming from the piano.

Dear Keep,
This rare specimen which has curiously attached itself to our kitchen walls is not really as exotic as some would believe. In fact, scientists have commented on its quite faithful reoccurance at the beginning of each semester. Operari interim they have named it, but yeofolk call it the Interim Work Chart. Strangely enough, studies have shown that it will stick around until coopers affix their names to its pale white skin. At some point, on some night, which remains a mystery to modern science, Operari interim experiences a magical metamorphosis, becoming Operari permanens.* As an experienced work chart observer, I must say the moment of transformation is truly a beautiful sight to behold. So sign up for your hours, please. Otherwise, we’ll all look like figure 2.1.

Remember that one time when we had snow? It’s 58 degrees today.
built a snowperson outside keep with nora today! isn’t it just daaaahling?
“my name is emma goldman. i’m a snowperson, and i prefer they, them, and theirs. if i could replace the floor of my room with anything i think it would beeeeee…penguins.”
(make your own! all you need is snow, radical-socialist clothes from the freebox, two twigs [three if you break one in the process], magnets from a friend’s room, and a broken carrot from the walk-in!)
Noun:
- A window that functions as a doorway
- A doorway that functions as a window
- That awesomely convenient portal on the right side of Keep porch for anyone unfortunate enough to have forgotten their OCID and in need of warmth and/or granola; often left open, much to the chagrin of Safety & Security and those trying to enjoy a warm, cozy meal in the lounge.
OH. What an excellent Obermanteau!
