The average GPA for the class of 2016 (and, actually, the class of 2015, too) is 3.9 weighted, 3.6 unweighted.

Today I wore my new Oberlin class of 2015 t-shirt. I seriously can’t wait until I can call Ohio my home. <3

Your mission:
We’re having a video contest, starring YOU!
In 60 seconds or less, we’d love to see you demonstrate your enthusiasm for Oberlin. Go all out: sing, dance, draw, compose a poem, make a recipe, write a theorem, skip, jump, shout, or whatever tickles your fancy, as long as you can fit it into a short video to share with us.
How to Participate:
1. Express your enthusiasm for Oberlin in a video of 60 seconds or less.
2. Upload your video to Youtube, give it a cleverly awesome title, and tag it with “Oberlin” (you can tag with other things too!).
3. Send us your video link via our submission form.
4. All video submissions are due by 11:59 pm EDT on Sunday, June 12th, 2011.
Bonus: Post your video to the Oberlin 2015 Facebook group to show off your hard work!
Things to remember:
Our fabulous prizes:
1st place - an iPad
2nd place - an iPod touch
3rd place - an Oberlin sweatshirt
Every person with a valid video submission will receive a free ticket to the Apollo, our historic local movie theater!
Our fabulous judges:
We will select our favorite videos based on the criteria of creativity, personality, and “Obieness’” (interpret that however you’d like). Our top 10 will be submitted to the entire 2015 incoming class for voting on the final winners.

Design the t-shirt that will be sent to admitted class of 2015 students!
The Office of Admissions and the Office of Communications are hosting the third annual contest to design the t-shirt that will be sent to all admitted students. Submit a 2- or 3-color design that says ‘Oberlin’ (literally and figuratively!). Our panel of expert judges will choose three finalists; students admitted early decision to the class of 2015 will then vote, and the design with the most votes will be mailed to the entire class next spring.
The prize? Seeing your design being worn by more than 2,000 admitted students. And we’ll sweeten the deal with $100 in cash.
