Carlos Andrés Gómez performed at the Cat in the Cream tonight, and I took over 200 pictures of his performance. His poetry, his execution, all of it were astounding. Afterward, I got an autograph from him and talked to him about how I first found him on Tumblr after seeing “What’s Genocide?” in my dashboard. He was extremely friendly and down-to-earth. Nothing but mad respect and love for the man.
Fact: he loved Oberlin a ton. Way to go, Carlos! Way to go, awesome Oberlin audience!
