Thanks for an AMAZING semester everyone! Pyle is now closed til the fall.

Appetizers: mini spinach and cheese quiches, tofu and vegetable dumplings, mushrooms stuffed with goat cheese, crostini with pesto

Final Tuesday dinner— chickpeas with feta, tomatoes and cucumbers; spiced quinoa, sweet potatoes, and poached pears.

Chocolate cookies at dinner tonight = best way to cope with a rainy day.
Even when meals are cancelled, Pyle takes care of each other. Many happy co-opers making lunches (and lemonade—whoa Shosh and Sophie!)

The Best Bread Ever60 c flour
27 c water
1/2c (+ a lil) salt
1/3 (+ a lil ) c yeast(amounts modified to 18 times the original recipe).
Throw all ingredients in the Hobart. Mix on medium speed. Walk away (VERY IMPORTANT. If you watch it, it won’t work!) Come back 5 min later and it’s perfect.
Cover. Let it rise in the bowl for 2 hours.
Get minions to form it into balls.
Let rise while oven preheats to 375’.
Put on greased sheets. Bake for 20min. Put on gloves and cut in half. Serve.
Makes enough to feed Pyle (100 plus).
This post is about Abraham, our largest pot. The secret behind cooking for 100 people is just using really big pots. Like Abraham. (Robin is graciously standing next to Abraham to show scale).
