That’s really great to hear!

While I am not a transfer and can not speak to personal experience of transferring into the Oberlin community, I will say that your phrase of “welcome additions” is about as closely as I could put it. The transfer students I have known here are extremely committed to the things they’re involved with here on campus (usually because most of them want to make up for lost time and go into it whole-heartedly) and they bring the wealth of their experiences from beyond Oberlin to our community to make it even greater. This extends to classes, extracurriculars, co-ops and living spaces, and more.
