The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching has selected Oberlin College for its 2010 Community Engagement Classification. Only 311 U.S. colleges and universities have achieved the classification since it was initiated in 2006, and Oberlin is one of only 27 baccalaureate colleges nationally to be awarded the classification.
